Fabric Requirements
The Lavender Top requires a light to mid weight knit fabric with 25% horizontal and mechanical vertical stretch. The Lavender Pants require a light to mid weight knit fabric with at least 30% horizontal stretch and mechanical vertical stretch. If you find pants difficult to fit, choose a fabric that also has vertical stretch. Your fabric choice will influence how your final garment fits. A lighter, stretchier fabric (such as rayon spandex) will be lighter and looser while a heavier, structured fabric (such as cotton spandex) will have a tighter and boxier fit.
Vertical stretch is a big factor here as well. Both the top and bottoms are drafted for fabrics with little to no vertical stretch. If you use a fabric with vertical stretch, ESPECIALLY an unstable fabric, it is more than likely you will need to compensate for that by shorten the rise and inseam.
Neckbands and cuffs require a knit fabric with at least 50% stretch and excellent recovery.
Measurements are in yards and based on 56” (142cm) wide fabric. Yardage assumes that your fabric has been prewashed and preshrunk. Extra fabric may be required for matching prints, directional fabric, or if you need to add length.
