Are you tired of shivering in your cold office or feeling chilly on a spring day? Look no further than the trusty cardigan to keep you warm and stylish. Cardigans are the ultimate versatile piece of clothing that can be pretty over dresses or paired with any outfit. The Cassia Cardigan has so many amazing options for whatever look you desire.
One of the most popular ways to wear a cardigan is by layering it over dresses. This adds a touch of sophistication to any outfit while providing an extra layer of warmth. I made my size 8 in a ribbed sweater knit with a brushed 'cashmere' feel. The dramatic length, hood, and tulip pocket give me romantic woodland vibes. ESPECIALLY worn over my lace Briar Dress.
Cardigans are a staple in any wardrobe due to their ability to be dressed up or down. They can easily transition from a professional office look to a casual weekend outfit. With the variety of styles, colors, and fabrics available, there is a cardigan for every occasion. Let's get to our tester makes!
1. Daisy
Daisy made a size 0 in a mid weight sweater knit. She chose the hood, tulip pockets, and front ties in an ankle length. Daisy's styling is absolute fire!
2. Lindsay
Lindsay made a size 2 in a top length. She used a brushed baby french terry and just LOOK at those tulip pockets!
3. Sarah
Sarah made a size 4 top length. In a gray ribbed sweater knit, Sarah's cardi is simple, but SO versatile!
4. Michele
Michele made two versions in a size 4, both in sweater knits. On the left is a tunic length styled for the office. On the right is a duster length with the tulip pocket styled for over a dress. Her dress is a Hawthorn Dress - perfect pairing!
5. Mara
Mara is wearing a size 4FBA in the tunic length. In the lower hemisphere, they're slipping into fall. This cute and comfy hooded version is great for autumn too!
6. Michelle
Michelle made a size 6 also in the tunic length, with the extended long sleeve cuffs. Speaking of lower hemisphere, Michelle used a cotton Lycra for her fall season transition cardigan!
7. Donna
Donna made two cardigans in a size 6FBA. On the left, she made a hooded, top length version with tulip pockets. The buttons are lovely with this color! On the right is a high hip crop with elbow sleeves. Both are made from cotton Lycra and the puppers were a big help!
8. Sierra
Sierra made two versions in a size 6. Both are top length and hooded. The left is a sweater knit with short sleeves and an adorable toggle closure. The right is a mystery knit (we all have those!) with regular patch pockets and buttons.
9. Michelle
Michelle made a size 6 in a duster length with a hood. She used a lightweight sweater knit that drapes and flows beautifully.
10. Julie
Julie made a size 10FBA in the ankle length. She made her with short sleeves and rayon spandex for a floaty summer feel!
11. Athena
Athena made a size 10FBA in the duster length with 3/4 length sleeves. This cheerful DBP fabric is a fun contrast with her black outfit styling.
12. Pamela
Pamela made a high hip crop version in a size 12FBA. She used a lightweight french terry for this super cute hooded crop with elbow length sleeves.
13. Jessica
Jessica made a size 14 in the tunic length. She made it out of a velvet burnout! I love that idea of a luxurious fabric even with jeans and a tee. I just had to show you the back view because that A-line shape is so flattering.
14. Tasha
Tasha made FOUR versions, all in a size 16FBA. They are all unique, so let's take a look at each one. The first is a high hip crop, elbow sleeve in an argyle sweater knit. This is my favorite for dresses with a waist seam because I think it's such a flattering silhouette. Those black buttons make the whole outfit!
This hooded cream sweater knit duster version was actually the original inspiration for the Cassia. Have you ever laid eyes on a back A-line silhouette? If not, you're missing out on a gorgeous fashion statement. This unique style is a game-changer for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance to their wardrobe.
Next is a knee length hooded version in a buffalo plaid sweater knit. Tasha swapped out the sleeves to use the bishop sleeves from the Hawthorn Henley Dress. Those sleeves with those boots!
Last, but clearly not least, Tasha made this striking duster length version with the tulip pockets. If you're ready to add a pop of color to your closet, definitely consider a bright color to bring some sunshine to your day!
15. Stephanie
Stephanie made this tunic length for her sister, Virginia, in a size 18FBA/22. These two are my favorite duo! The pastel blue with the tulip pocket is giving me all the spring time vibes.
16. Sequoia
Sequoia made her two versions in a size 22FBA/24. On the top, we have a tunic length, cuffed long sleeve in a sweater knit. On the bottom, a top length, elbow sleeve in a rib knit. Check out the bag too! I spy a Medley Bag!
17. Amy
Amy made two totally different looks in a size 22FBA/26, and they are both awesome! On the top, she is wearing a high hip crop, elbow length sleeves, button front, in DBP. I believe her inspiration was Bernadette from Big Bang Theory. I think she totally nailed it! On the bottom, is a duster length version in a mystery fabric. With the sleeveless option and front tie, this is giving me some serious 60s hippie vibes!
That's everyone! I hope you enjoyed the huge variety of makes and styles as much as I did. Next time you're faced with a cold office or a chilly spring day, reach for your Cassia Cardigan to stay warm and fashionable. With their ultimate versatility, cardigans are a must-have in any wardrobe!
