NEW RELEASE: Alpine Sweatshirt Tester Round Up

NEW RELEASE: Alpine Sweatshirt Tester Round Up

Rolling into fall here in the Pacific Northwest, hoodies  become my uniform. I love to be outside as much as possible, even when the weather is rather uncooperative. Hoodies are essential to that life! My Alpine Sweatshirt is a size 8 made from traditional sweatshirt fleece (that I found at a thrift store!) with cuffs, hem band and hood lining out of peached performance from Amanda's Bundles.

Alpine is your favorite hoodie/sweatshirt you can make over and over again! Alpine has short or long sleeves (hemmed or cuffed) and a traditional kangaroo pocket with optional binding for pop. Choose from a regular neckband, lined or unlined hood. Finish by hemming or with a hem band. Both regular and FBA (full bust adjustment) bodices are included. This is my favorite hoodie for showing off a print or adding a vinyl detail.

This black one is made out of Sports Fleece, also with peached performance for cuffs and hem band. Both fabrics are from Amanda's Bundles.

1. Lisanne

Lisanne used a shimmery lurex sherpa with a matching ribbing in a size 4. The thought of wearing that fabric makes me want to grab a hot chocolate!

2. Tiffany

Tiffany did the short sleeve cuffed version in a size 16. She used a mid weight sweater knit with cotton lycra bands. I am digging the ringer tee look!

3. Leigh

Leigh used a sports fleece (also from Amanda's Bundles) for her size 8 sweatshirt. The color coordination is expert level!

4. Penny

Penny is wearing microfleece with cotton lycra bands in a size 2. She is absolutely thrilled Mom included thumbhole cuffs on hers!

5. Jenni

Jenni is ready for Christmas, no matter what the weather! Both are a size 6 in french terry.

6. Lindsay

Lindsay shows you exactly how much a fabric choice can change the final garment! The purple is in a traditional sweatshirt fleece that is thick with not much stretch. The orange is in a french terry with more stretch and drape.

7. Becky

Becky is looking amazing in this french terry sweatshirt in a size 10. The matching ribbing is everything!

8. Margie

Margie loved her first sweatshirt so much, she had to go back for more with a hoodie! The green is a stretch sweatshirt fleece and the red is in power wool. That sounds so cozy! Both are in a size 12FBA.

9. Amy

Amy made her size 20FBA hoodie in this lovely, lovely lightweight french terry. I just can't get over how pretty this is, especially with that mustard accent!

10. Ashley

Ashley chose a modal fleece for her size 12 hoodie. That sounds like something amazing I'd like against my skin! Using a bright print for the hood lining, cuffs, pocket binding, and hem band gives a happy pop of color.

11. April

April made her daughter a size 2 in a cotton french terry - one of my favorites for hoodies. That pop of purple is divine!
