It's been a minute since out last bag pattern release but I think the wait has been worth it! I hope you agree.

Whether you're looking for a small handbag or a deep tote for all your goodies, the Rivet Patterns Libretto Handbag & Tote is for you.  Complete with slip pockets, zipper pockets, and adjustable shoulder strap, this bag checks all the boxes. 

Pocket Potential:  You can add as many pockets as you want or add none.  I love choices!  You can have up to four slip pockets and 4 zipper pockets.  Make your own adventure!

Let's start with what I made:

I made four Libretto bags in canvas, cotton flannel, vinyl, and upcycled burlap. They each turned out great!  I made all of them with my domestic Juki except the vinyl/burlap one.   That burlap was thick and added to the heavy vinyl it required my industrial in spots for all the layers.

Now for the fabulous testers!!!!

Ashley used basket weave canvas and waterproof canvas for her bags and I'm totally in love!

Ashley M

Ashley M used canvas and quilting cotton for her libretto.  I love this combination.  The colors have my heart! She paired her Libretto with her favorite Ponga dress.  You can find that pattern HERE.

Lara used duck cloth and canvas for her makes and I want to steal them. JK I'm pretty sure she's too far away.

Joan

Joan used some heavy cotton scraps from some pants she made and I just love how classy it turned out.  This fabric is stunning!

Tine used canvas and cork for her handbag and pleather and an upcycled curtain for her tote.  These are stunning!

Michele went for a stunning upcycle using a faux leather bag.

Synthia used cork is Sallie Tomato, WPC from MoreMeKnow, black leather from a re-purposed jacket, and hardware from WaWak.

Kelly decided on canvas and cotton and I'm here for it!  It's so fabulous.

Sunarti's chose of fabric is truly lovely.  She chose canvas and cotton for this beauty!

I can't take how cute Dana's bag turned out! She used waxed canvas and cotton canvas for the outer and waterproof canvas for her lining.

Amy's vinyl and nylon combo is super fun.  She didn't have the 1.5" hardware as the pattern calls for so she used 1" instead.   I think it looks fab!

Jessica chose a lovely vinyl and cotton combo.  That vinyl is giving me all the good vibes.
