I don't know about you, but by the time December hits, I'm just...done. December is chaotic at best, especially when you've got kids. My oldest also has a birthday right before Christmas, adding to the melee. I get in the holiday spirit and enjoy the ride, but I like to do it wearing comfy clothes.
First things first, go grab your Lavender Lounge Set pattern HERE!
Loungewear is my favorite thing to sew in winter. It's easy, it's fast, and I know I'll wear it. Holiday dresses are much more fun, but loungewear...that's going to get a lot more air time. My set here is a size 8ish top and 10ish bottom (I grade a lot for sizes as well as adding a lot of vertical real estate for my height). Both are french terry. The top is a lighter, softer brushed baby french terry, and the pants are a cotton spandex french terry.
My favorite part of this set is the inset pockets. IMO, they make the bottoms feel more like 'real pants'. They are also sewn into both the side seams and the waistband for stability AND my entire phone fits in there.
